Humana Selects TALX FasTime for Time and Attendance Services

ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 5, 2004--TALX Corporation (NASDAQ:TALX), a leading business process outsourcer of payroll-data centric services, today announced that Humana Inc. has implemented an automated time and attendance solution from TALX FasTime(R) Services.

With this service, Humana's over 13,000 employees can enter, view and edit their hours worked using an online timesheet. The service accommodates the needs of multiple employee groups with diverse business rules. It also meets Humana's data collection needs for FMLA, short-term disability and paid-time off for both exempt and non-exempt workers. Plus, managers and supervisors review and approve associates' timesheets on-line.

"TALX FasTime quickly met our needs for an automated time and attendance solution," said Brian LeClaire, vice president and chief technology officer of Humana. "With FasTime services, we provide our associates with a more efficient time collection, review and approval process while at the same time significantly reducing our cost per timesheet."

Built-in audits and checks at the time of data entry provide error-free data up-front. Information on hours worked is then consolidated in one clean package for transmission into Humana's payroll system using an interface Humana was able to quickly develop by working with TALX.

"We are pleased to support Humana as a leader in the adoption of self-service technology," said Dick Herrmann, president of TALX FasTime Services. "TALX enables Humana to deliver to its employees an accurate, customized time and attendance service with approvals around the clock, delivering time and labor expense savings to everyone."
