TALX to Host Client Advisory Board Summit

ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 12, 2004--TALX Corporation (Nasdaq:TALX), announced today that its Client Advisory Board will be meeting in Chicago on October 14-15, 2004, as part of ongoing efforts to bring forward-looking clients together to share best practice methods and explore shared payroll and HR issues.

The Client Advisory Board convenes several times a year to provide valuable feedback on the use of TALX services, discuss legislative and marketplace issues impacting payroll and HR business processes, and exchange views on current topics of mutual interest. The 18-member board includes executives from major employers including Federated Department Stores, Ford Motor Company, Kelly Services, and Walgreen Co. Collectively, the TALX Client Advisory Board encompasses a workforce of over four million.
