TALX Named To Forbes America's 200 Best Small Companies
                 - TALX on List for Fifth Consecutive Year -

ST. LOUIS, Nov. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- TALX Corporation (Nasdaq: TALX) today announced that it was selected as one of Forbes 200 Best Small Companies in America for the fifth consecutive year.

To qualify for the Forbes 200 Best Small Companies in America, Forbes identifies public companies with sales between $5 million and $750 million. A company must have had a share price above $5 as of September 29 on a three-month average volume of 10,000 or more shares to qualify for the list. Candidates also must carry profit margins of greater than 5 percent, with positive sales and profit growth, on average, over both the last five years and last 12 months.
