TALX Selected by United States Postal Service to Provide The Work Number(R) and Unemployment Tax Services

Contract with Nation's Second Largest Employer Provides Catalyst

For Added Growth at TALX Corporation

ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 27, 2007--TALX Corporation (NASDAQ:TALX), a leading provider of human resource and payroll-related services, today announced that the United States Postal Service (USPS) has contracted with TALX to provide employment verification services through The Work Number as well as unemployment tax services. The USPS is the second largest employer in the United States. This significant contract will add approximately 800,000 active employees to The Work Number.
