TALX to Showcase Paperless Pay at the American Payroll Association's 21st Annual Congress
ST. LOUIS, Mar 27, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- TALX Corporation (NASDAQ: TALX)

TALX will highlight a complete solution that enables major employers to eliminate the printing and distribution of paper checks and advices from their payroll process.

TALX Corporation (NASDAQ: TALX), a leading business process outsourcer of human resources and payroll services, plans to introduce to American Payroll Association (APA) members a complete paperless pay solution at the American Payroll Association's 21st Annual Congress. The Congress, which is scheduled for April 28-May 2 in Las Vegas, is recognized as the leading conference for payroll management to find out how to leverage new technology into improved efficiency and cost savings.

The APA Congress is well-known for its top notch education program. As part of this years' Congress, TALX has been selected by the APA to conduct workshops as part of the 5-day Congress learning experience. Mike Smith, vice president of marketing, will be presenting a workshop on Payroll/Human Resources Self-Service Internet and Portal Technologies. In addition, Marlene Minaeff, product manager, and Mary Pick, marketing manager, will be leading a forum on Effective Integration of Selective Outsourced Payroll Services.

APA members attending the Congress will also be able to visit the TALX exhibit to learn about all of the TALX Services including paperless pay. This popular concept is brought to reality through the new end-to-end paperless pay service from TALX. Paperless pay means eliminating paperwork in every phase of the payroll process, reducing costs, and delivering faster, more convenient employee service. Paperless Pay leverages today's enabling technologies to pay employees without printing or distributing paper checks and advices. Although electronic payroll is at the heart of Paperless Pay, TALX also provides the other essential components that collectively make real the vision of eliminating every piece of employee-directed paper surrounding the payroll process.
